The updated Roland TD-07KV2 V-Drums Kit delivers an excellent balance of playability, features and value for beginners, dedicated students and returning drummers. Part of the refreshed TD-07 Series, it combines larger, upgraded drum pads, expanded cymbal options and enhanced practice tools for a more expressive drumming experience.
With a five-piece configuration featuring 10-inch snare and floor tom pads, two crash cymbals, and a dedicated KD-10 kick, the TD-07KV2 offers more playing space and creative flexibility. The larger pads give you more freedom to develop rudiments, fills, and solos, while the simplified setup gets you playing sooner.
Looking for a fuller drum kit experience while still enjoying the ease of electronic drums? The Roland TD-07KV2 takes the updated TD-07 Series a step further with larger playing surfaces, two crash cymbals and a dedicated kick pad. It is an especially attractive option for developing drummers who desire greater freedom to move around the kit as their skills improve.
The 10-inch snare and floor tom provide more room for stick movement, while the two 8-inch rack toms make practising fills and moving between drums feel more natural. The second crash cymbal is also a worthwhile addition, giving you more options for accents, transitions, and building more interesting drum parts.
The standalone KD-10 kick pad provides a more substantial bass drum setup, letting you use a compatible kick pedal instead of a compact, rack-mounted trigger. Paired with the FD-9 hi-hat controller, it's a practical setup for building coordination and foot technique.
Beyond the playing surfaces, the TD-07 module offers 25 preset kits, extensive sound editing and useful practice tools. Bluetooth audio lets you play along with your favourite music, while the built-in coach function and metronome help you work on timing, consistency and accuracy.
For dedicated students, returning drummers, and beginners looking for a more complete setup from the start, the TD-07KV2 offers a compelling balance of playing comfort, versatility, and room to grow. More space for your sticks, more cymbals to explore, and a kit that is ready to grow with your playing.
