From Our Store to Your Door – Shipping & Made Easy

Fast, reliable shipping Australia-wide from Mall Music, independently serving musicians from Sydney’s Northern Beaches for over 45 years.

Orders are dispatched from our store at Westfield Warringah Mall, Brookvale. We understand that many orders are needed for lessons, gigs, school band programs, performances and special occasions, so our team works hard to process orders quickly and communicate clearly throughout the shipping process.


Shipping Rates

Shipping rates are automatically calculated based on your destination, parcel dimensions and shipping weight. You can view shipping costs by entering your postcode in your Cart or during Checkout.

Some large, bulky or fragile items may require custom freight arrangements depending on the delivery location and access requirements.


Free Shipping

Metro areas of NSW, VIC and QLD are eligible for FREE SHIPPING on orders over $100, excluding oversized items and products with a volumetric weight over 10kg.

Some heavily discounted, clearance or special-order items may also be excluded from Free Shipping.

Free Shipping uses the most cost-effective delivery service available and may be sent using Authority to Leave (ATL) where appropriate.

Please note that many courier networks no longer include signature-on-delivery services as standard.


Standard Shipping

Standard Shipping is dispatched using the most suitable courier or postal service based on the item size, destination and delivery requirements.

In some cases, the Mall Music team may also personally deliver local orders within the Sydney area.


Express Shipping

Express Shipping is sent using Australia Post Express Post or premium courier services depending on the destination and item type.

Please note that Express Shipping does not always guarantee overnight delivery, particularly for regional or remote areas within Australia.

If your order is urgent, we strongly recommend contacting our team before placing your order so we can advise the fastest available option for your location and product type.


Dispatch & Courier Collection

Most orders are booked for dispatch within the same or following business day.

Please note that courier collection times can vary depending on the freight provider, delivery location and item size. While many consignments are collected quickly, some large, bulky or remote-area deliveries may take 3–4 business days for courier pickup after booking.

Once collected, tracking updates will begin appearing via the courier network.

During busy periods, promotional events and public holidays, dispatch and collection times may be slightly extended.


Estimated Delivery Timeframes

The below delivery estimates apply after courier collection and are provided as a general guide only.

Please note that oversized freight, fragile items and some remote locations may experience longer delivery times depending on the courier network servicing the area.


Large, Bulky & Fragile Items

Some products including digital pianos, drum kits, PA systems, amplifiers and large speaker cabinets may require specialised freight services.

Additional freight charges may apply for:

  • regional or remote locations
  • apartment buildings
  • difficult access locations
  • stairs or hand-unload requirements
  • oversized or fragile consignments

If additional freight charges apply, our team will contact you prior to dispatch.

Some large items may also require longer courier collection and transit times than standard parcels.


Instrument Packaging

We take extra care packaging musical instruments and fragile items using protective materials designed to minimise movement and reduce the risk of transit damage.

All instruments are inspected prior to dispatch.


Store Pickup

Click & Collect is available free of charge from our store located at Westfield Warringah Mall, Brookvale on Sydney’s Northern Beaches.

You will receive notification once your order has been processed and is ready for collection.


Stock Availability

We work hard to maintain accurate live inventory across our website and retail store.

Occasionally, stock discrepancies may occur due to in-store sales, supplier availability or simultaneous online purchases. If an item becomes unavailable after your order is placed, our team will contact you as soon as possible to discuss the available options.


Multiple Item Orders

Orders containing multiple items may be held and shipped together once all items are available.

If you require a partial shipment urgently, please contact our team prior to dispatch and we will do our best to assist.


Authority to Leave (ATL)

If you choose to provide Authority to Leave instructions, please ensure there is a secure and weather-protected location available for delivery.

We only recommend Authority to Leave where it is safe to do so.

Once a delivery has been completed in accordance with the delivery instructions provided by the customer, including Authority to Leave requests, responsibility for the parcel transfers to the recipient.

Please note that some courier services may charge additional re-delivery fees if no one is available to receive the parcel and no safe place has been nominated.


Signature Deliveries

If you request signature-on-delivery, we recommend using a business address where someone will be available during business hours.

If a delivery attempt is unsuccessful, the courier may leave a collection card or arrange re-delivery directly with the recipient.

If an item is returned to Mall Music due to failed delivery or non-collection, any re-delivery charges may be passed on to the customer.


Tracking Your Order

Once your order has been dispatched and collected by the courier, tracking information will be sent via email.

You can monitor your delivery progress at any time using the tracking link provided.

Damaged In Transit

If your parcel arrives damaged, please take photos of both the packaging and the product immediately and contact our team as soon as possible.

If you are signing for a parcel that appears visibly damaged, we strongly recommend refusing delivery where appropriate.

Please retain all original packaging and contents while any freight claim is being assessed.


Transit Protection

If your parcel is lost or damaged during transit, please contact our team immediately so we can assist with the investigation and claims process.

Do not dispose of damaged items or packaging until instructed by our team or the freight provider.
