The Roland GP-3 is made for people who have always wanted the look of a grand piano but simply don't have the room for one.
At just 638mm deep, it's Roland's most compact digital grand, combining an elegant polished ebony cabinet with an expressive 88-note hammer-action keyboard, rich Roland piano sound and all the everyday advantages of a premium digital piano.
There’s no tuning or regular maintenance, you can control the volume or practise privately with headphones, and Bluetooth connectivity lets you play music through the piano or connect wirelessly with compatible apps.

Our Take
The GP-3 addresses a major challenge of owning a grand piano: finding the space in your home. At only 638mm deep, it can work in living rooms, apartments and spaces where even a small acoustic baby grand would be impractical. Yet you still get the curved cabinet, opening lid and polished ebony finish that make a grand piano such a beautiful piece of furniture.
Even with its smaller size, there is no compromise in sound quality & expression. The weighted 88-note keyboard gives developing and experienced players the resistance and dynamic control needed for proper piano technique, while Roland's Piano Reality sound engine delivers a rich, expressive grand piano tone. The speaker system is modest on paper, but the cabinet helps produce a surprisingly full sound for an instrument this compact.
The GP-3 has gained popularity among home pianists. There's no tuning schedule to worry about, volume can be adjusted to suit the room, and headphones mean someone can practise early in the morning or late at night without disturbing anyone else. Bluetooth also makes the piano part of the room when you're not playing, stream music from your phone directly through its speakers.
