The Yamaha AC3M ARE is for players who want the warmth and depth of a well-played vintage guitar with the precision and reliability of modern construction. Built with an all-solid wood design, it pairs a Solid Sitka Spruce top with Solid Mahogany back and sides for a balanced tone with rich mids, clear highs and excellent projection.
At the heart of the AC3M is Yamaha’s A.R.E. (Acoustic Resonance Enhancement) technology. By carefully controlling humidity and temperature during production, Yamaha alters the wood structure to replicate the mature tonal characteristics of a guitar that has been played for decades. The result is a warm, responsive instrument with an immediate “played-in” sound.
When it’s time to plug in, the SRT2 (Studio Response Technology) pickup system delivers a natural amplified tone designed specifically for the concert body. With onboard mic modelling and blend control, you can shape a studio-quality acoustic sound on stage or in the studio.
Finished in Vintage Natural, the AC3M combines elegant looks with professional-level performance.
