Our Take

This is an ideal hardware pack for the Roland TD316 or TD513, with the three things you still need to complete the kit: kick pedal, hi-hat stand and drum throne.

The PDP 800 Series delivers solid, medium-weight hardware without the cost of heavy-duty acoustic hardware you don't need. The double-chain kick pedal has a smooth, responsive feel, the hi-hat stand is sturdy, and the 13" throne is a worthwhile step up from basic starter hardware.

We'd recommend this pack for home players, students, and anyone putting together their first serious electronic drum setup. It's good-quality hardware you'll be happy to keep using as your playing progresses.
