The NU-X MG-300 MKII packs an impressive range of guitar amps, effects and recording tools into one compact, affordable processor. Whether you're learning guitar, building your first effects setup or looking for a versatile alternative to a traditional pedalboard, the MG-300 MKII gives you plenty of room to experiment.

Powered by NU-X's TSAC-HD amp modelling technology, it delivers responsive amplifier sounds alongside overdrives, distortions, delays, reverbs and modulation effects. With customisable signal routing, an expression pedal, a built-in drum machine, a looper, and USB-C connectivity, it's ready for home practice, recording, and live performance.

FEATURES

  • TSAC-HD Amp Modelling – NU-X's White-Box modelling technology recreates the dynamic response and playing feel of analogue tube amplifiers.
  • Extensive Amp & Cabinet Selection – Includes 25 guitar cabinet IRs, 8 bass cabinet IRs and 3 acoustic IRs.
  • 24 User-Loadable IR Slots – Import your own impulse responses to customise your cabinet sounds.
  • Comprehensive Effects Library – Overdrives, distortions, compressors, modulation, delays, reverbs and EQ.
  • Customisable Signal Chain – Arrange effects and amplifier blocks in your preferred order.

  • Integrated Drum Machine – Play along with rhythm patterns for practice, songwriting and jamming.

  • Independent Output Level Controls – Adjust headphone and main output levels separately.

Our Take

Want to try a hundred different guitar sounds without buying a hundred different pedals? Then MG-300 MKII makes a lot of sense, particularly if you're still discovering the sounds you like. Want a big high-gain amp for metal? Something clean and spacious with a little delay? A crunchy rhythm tone and a boosted solo sound? It's all in there, ready to experiment with.

NU-X hasn't forgotten about the actual playing experience. The TSAC-HD modelling is designed to respond like a real amplifier, rather than simply giving you a collection of digital sounds. The Pro Scene feature is particularly useful too: set up your clean, rhythm and lead sounds within one preset and switch between them without building three completely separate patches.

For beginners, the drum machine, looper and headphone output make this a brilliant little practice companion. For more experienced players, flexible effects routing, custom IRs and USB recording capabilities provide plenty of room to experiment.

The MG-300 MKII is a great choice for guitarists building their first effects setup, bedroom players, home recording enthusiasts and anyone wanting a compact, affordable alternative to a pedalboard full of individual effects.

It's a lot of guitar bag for one little box — and considerably easier to explain to your bank account.
