A narrow-body auditorium acoustic-electric guitar inspired by the proportions and tonal character of early 20th-century instruments. Built from all-solid genuine mahogany, the Vintage Series reflects a considered approach to balance, projection and articulation, shaped by the traditions that defined acoustic guitar design.
Constructed from AA-grade, all-solid genuine mahogany throughout the soundboard, back, and sides, this instrument delivers a clear, articulate voice with strong midrange presence and controlled overtones. The tonal profile is direct and balanced, allowing it to sit naturally within an ensemble or recording environment.
Each guitar is individually optimised, with careful attention to voicing and internal structure to ensure consistency and responsiveness across the full frequency range.
Finished in an ultra-thin nitrocellulose satin vintage stain, the timber is allowed to resonate freely as it develops character over time.
Inspired by the smaller-bodied orchestral and 00-style guitars of the 1920s to 1940s, the narrower auditorium body offers a more compact, comfortable playing experience. The reduced body depth and footprint make it particularly well-suited to players who prefer a more controlled feel without sacrificing tonal presence.
A one-piece genuine mahogany neck with volute provides stability and a consistent response, complemented by smooth fretwork and undercut fret ends.
With its focused projection and articulate response, the Vintage Series performs particularly well in recording environments and ensemble settings. The LR Baggs Element VTC system translates the guitar’s natural tone with clarity when amplification is required.
