One of the most recorded and gigged guitar amps ever made — now refined for modern players.
The Fender Hot Rod Deluxe IV continues the legacy of one of Fender's most popular tube amplifiers, delivering the classic Fender clean tone players love, along with powerful overdrive when you push it harder. With 40 watts of valve-driven power and a Celestion 12" A-Type speaker, this amp has the headroom, punch and projection needed for rehearsals, studio work and live performance.
The updated Hot Rod Deluxe IV includes several player-requested improvements. Fender refined the preamp circuitry to deliver clearer note definition when the amp is driven, making overdriven tones more articulate and responsive. The spring reverb circuit has also been redesigned to sound smoother and more musical.
Like previous models in the Hot Rod series, the amp offers three channels — Normal, Drive, and More Drive — allowing players to move from sparkling Fender easily cleans to gritty blues tones and saturated rock sounds.
Housed in a lightweight pine cabinet, the Hot Rod Deluxe IV remains portable while maintaining the warm resonance that tube amps are known for. It also includes a two-button footswitch and protective cover, making it ready for stage use straight out of the box.
From blues and country to rock and indie, the Hot Rod Deluxe IV remains a go-to amplifier for guitarists who want powerful tube tone with versatility and reliability.
