Our Take

If you're learning piano as an adult, this book gets you into songs you actually know without asking too much of your technique too soon.

It's particularly good alongside a method book. While your lessons are building technique and reading skills, this gives you recognisable music to sit down and enjoy playing.

We'd recommend it for adult beginners who want more than traditional lesson pieces, as well as players returning to piano after a long break. The arrangements start simply and become more involved as you progress, so there's plenty here to work through rather than a handful of songs you'll quickly outgrow.
