A one-off Master Built auditorium acoustic guitar, handcrafted and voiced entirely by Aaron Fenech using master-grade Big Leaf Maple. Built without compromise, this instrument reflects a singular approach to tone, material selection and visual detail.
Selected from one of the finest sets in Aaron Fenech’s collection, the Big Leaf Maple used here features tight, highly figured flame across both body and neck — a rare and visually striking combination. Tonally, maple offers exceptional note separation, fast response and a controlled low end, making it particularly suited to articulate, dynamic playing.
The high gloss nitrocellulose finish enhances both resonance and visual depth, allowing the figure of the timber to shift subtly under light.
The auditorium body shape provides a balanced and responsive platform, with a focused voice and comfortable physical profile. A one-piece genuine mahogany neck with volute offers structural stability and a consistent playing feel, while undercut fret ends and refined detailing contribute to a smooth, uninterrupted experience across the fingerboard.
With its clarity and separation, this instrument excels in recording environments and situations where articulation is critical. It responds accurately to both light and aggressive dynamics, maintaining definition across complex arrangements.
Each Master Built instrument is personally crafted, voiced and completed by Aaron Fenech in Queensland. Combining traditional luthiery techniques with a modern understanding of tone shaping, the result is an instrument defined by both precision and individuality.
Every instrument is inspected and prepared by out lead workshop technician, Fess Parker, before it reaches you, ensuring it performs as intended from the first play.
