Program Breakdown
Step 1: Meet & Greet
Kick off with a relaxed jam night where you’ll meet other participants, try different combos, and find your perfect band match.
Step 2: Weekly Rehearsals
No dingy jam rooms here — just professional gear, guidance from your coach, and exclusive access to the Bucketty’s stage. You’ll refine your setlist, lock in your sound, and get gig-ready.
Step 3: The Big Gig
Take the stage for your final live performance at Bucketty’s Brewing Co. in front of a roaring crowd. Walk away buzzing with confidence, new mates, and memories that’ll last a lifetime.

9 February: Meet & Greet Audition
Your journey starts with an exciting jam session led by our coach, Richard Burgman (from the legendary Australian band Sunnyboys). Participants will take turns on stage performing the track "Knocking on Heaven's Door" by Bob Dylan. This isn't about perfection—it's an opportunity for Richard to gauge your experience & style.
16 February: Rehersal Week 1
During rehearsals, all bands will come together and take turns performing on stage. It’s a relaxed, supportive environment where you can learn just as much from watching others as you do from playing yourself. Richard will coach and mentor you through each session - helping you tighten your sound, build confidence, and bring real stage presence to your performance.
23 February: Rehersal Week 2
Groove building and arrangement tweaks.
2 March: Rehersal Week 3
Performance tips and personalised coaching.
9 March: Rehersal Week 4
Final rehearsal of set before live performance.
15 March: Live Performance
